- Comment - If you make an AfD for a band you may want to add their albums to the nomination.--Tikiwont (talk) 12:50, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment. Usually i just prod them as unnecessary-album-by-deleted-artist if the AfD !votes to delete. Same result either way really. tomasz. 13:23, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Shadow Host is a non-notable band. Masterpiece2000 (talk) 13:50, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep Shadow Host is a notable band, because:
-It has been the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent from the musician/ensemble itself and reliable:
Metal-archives.com
Metaluniverse.net
Metrolyrics.com
Mastersland.com
and others.
-Has released two or more albums on a major label:
Twilight Legend
Curse Of The Angeleye
both on CD-Maximum, Russian major label.
-Contains at least one member who was once a part of or later joined a band that is otherwise notable:
Andrey Ischenko played in Catharsis.
-Has become the most prominent representative of a notable style or of the local scene of a city:
It is a first and a most commonly mentioned band, playing Russian power metal.Ironguardian (talk) 18:45, 10 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment. None of those four websites are "multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent from the musician/ensemble itself and reliable". Two are metal fansites, one is a lyrics site, the last one appears to be some sort of blog with just a track listing. No mention of Ischenko at Catharsis's page at all. The claim to be "representative of a notable style or of the local scene of a city" is a valid keep reason, but it would need sources that say that, which aren't there at the moment. tomasz. 19:25, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment. I can also mention russian websites like [musica.mustdie.ru], which say Shadow Host is a "representative of a notable style or of the Rusian scene", but would you understand it in Russian? What about Andrey Ischenko, he is mentioned on the Catharsis's albums pages:
Imago_(Catharsis_album)
Imago_(Имаго)
Prizrachnyj Svet

- Keep meets WP:MUSIC in more than one area (see my previous comment above). It's the first power metal band in Russia ever. Over the years it became the most mentioned one. It's kinda classical now.Ironguardian (talk) 12:48, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment. Ok. Ironguardian (talk) 08:22, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep as per Ironguardian's reasoning. Sounds notable to me. --John (talk) 02:19, 22 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
