This article does not seem to meet the notability threshold. Maybe an article on extremism in the U.S. Military would be more appropriate? This is just an order from the DOD - missed chance to create a page on a broader, more encompassing topic. Cliffmore (talk) 22:28, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Merge into Aftermath of the 2021 United States Capitol attack. Although the order itself seems to stem from a 2009 document, most of the coverage surrounding the order has addressed the fact that members of the armed forces were involved in the Capitol attack. See NPR, The Hill, CBS News, NBC News, and ABC News coverage. The order did not directly mention January 6, but a Pentagon spokesperson interviewed by US News said that "The sixth of January was a wake-up call for this specific problem", so I don't believe it's a stretch to include this order under the broader "aftermath".
