Was CSD'ed (incorrectly) by Graymornings, then PROD'ed by FlyingToaster (which the original author declined), so now I am bring it here - there is no assertion of notability within the article. - Keep but improve - Just passing through and noticed this. I think it's a rather important piece of accessibility software for visually impaired people. I've actually been hearing of TextAloud increasingly recently as I'm part of a disability accessibility forum at work. At the very least it should be mentioned on Speech synthesis. I don't know enough about it to improve the entry, but I know of no other text-to-speech programmes by name. Mabalu (talk) 03:20, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
