Subject already deleted once under a different name (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/John Christopher Glenn. Still no signs of the notability we require for an article in Wikipedia. Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 16:10, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Q for Admin: Is this article substantively the same as the deleted one? I don't get to see the deleted article, but does this qualify under G4? ArakunemTalk 19:52, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Speedy was declined with the reason "This version is substantially different, and there have been clear attempts to address the notability issues at the last AfD. CSD is a lower threshold for notability, and this passes, so take back to AFD if required". Sorry, should have put that in the nom. Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 09:54, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- The article simply doesn't convincingly assert notability of the subject. Wikipedia is not the place to promote someone/something that might be notable 5 years from now. Having an extra role in an independent movie and being in your own band doesn't make you notable. Dmz5*Edits**Talk* 21:08, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete as still too soon. As pointed out in last month's AfD (modified contenet, same subject, same author, slightly different article title), one film 10 years ago does not a notability make, and though the name "Topher Glenn" is searchable [1], there isstill nothing of substannce in reliable sources [2][3]. The band "The City Never Sleeps" is itself sill only creeping toward notability. To User:Topherglenn, the author of the Topher Glenn article, I might suggest he have patience and continue building his career... and in the meanwhile he might study WP:RS, WP:COI and WP:BIO.
