Out of the 8 sources in the article, 4 are blogs. 1 is a gadget site, 1 is the youtube video itself, 1 is a mention in a 'podcast' and the last is an article in Metro (Associated Metro Limited). So it barely passes WP:WEB. But more of a WP:NOTNEWS delete, as all the sources are between the 2007-06-20 to 2007-07-04 range. Otterathome (talk) 15:05, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep; nominator doesn't mention that there is also a reference to an article in The Daily Telegraph [1]; also, three of the "blogs" used as references are associated with two major publications (The Guardian and The Stage). That easily surpasses the requirements of WP:WEB, and establishes both notability and verifiability. As for the coverage being centered around a particular time fram, isn't that an issue for pretty much all the articles in Category:YouTube videos? These things are popular for a while, get media coverage, and then fade. I realize that this is sort of a WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS point, but I haven't seen WP:NOTNEWS used as a deletion argument for viral video articles before. —Josiah Rowe (talk • contribs) 05:15, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- Comment: How is this WP:ONEDAY? It was an internet meme that got coverage from two major newspapers and blogs affiliated with two more. It's a fairly trivial item, but it's not something made up in school. —Josiah Rowe (talk • contribs) 21:37, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep; This article is notable by the several news sources it cites. The Metro, The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian and The Stage. The basis of this deletion nomination are not true.
