Propose renaming Category:Roller skating championships to Category:Roller skating competitions

Nominator's rationale: These are competitions and part of the Category:Sports competitions structure. "Championships" is not an easily definable attribute. SFB 17:42, 10 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Propose renaming Category:Roman Catholic cleric–scientists to Category:Roman Catholic cleric-scientists

Nominator's rationale: Rename. This category represent an inappropriate implementation of the guideline WP:ENDASH. One example that is given is that of singer-songwriter: "Wrong: a singer–songwriter; not separate persons, so use a hyphen: a singer-songwriter". Like singer-songwriters, each cleric-scientist is one person, and so it should be hyphenated, not endashed, just like Category:Singer-songwriters. ugh I dislike these "one job-another job" formulations, but it has a list, and sources. Can I still not like it? I'm just going to register that. the same for actor-politicians and other hyphenated annoyances. Why can't we just use category intersection to find "Footballer/philosophers" and "Rabbi/biologists" and "Actor/directors" and so on and so forth. Must we really create these two-job-intersection categories? ah, yes, I know, reliable sources, blah blah.--Obi-Wan Kenobi (talk) 22:47, 10 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  - See Wikipedia:Category_intersection#Tools_currently_available - the best is quick intersection. You can also do a non-recursive search intersection as follows: [1] using the incategory tag.
