Nominator's rationale: I realise technology is not synonymous to technique and neither is telecommunication to communication. Still it evades me what exactly the difference is. Maybe these categories can be joined in some way to make the structure of the superior category easier to grasp. If they are not to be merged possibly someone could add an introductory sentence to both categories explaining their relation.
Also Category:Home automation should be merged into Category:Building automation. Yes, building automation reaches further than home automation but the overwhelming majority of articles related to any one of those categories should be added to the other one as well. Or, to put it differently: If only articles related to home automation and NOT to building automation were to remain in home automation, this category would probably be almost empty and hence could as well be merged.
