Keep, possibly rename. This was underpopulated, as I realised because a different member of the family was involved in an early religious controversy in my home city. Has enough articles to keep now. May need renaming though, given that only one member has much connection with Wales. Grutness...wha?03:59, 15 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Delete -- Most the articles do not show that the persons concerned were related to each other, so that this looks to me like a case of shared surname, a basis for which categories are not allowed. If they were related, there should be a main article saying how they were related. Peterkingiron (talk) 18:36, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: Both of these articles concern the same person, WP:SMALLCAT and there may be no prospect of expansion. Should be upmerged as appropriate. buidhe03:57, 14 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The Australian Rugby League Hall of Fame was established in 2002 to recognize Australian rugby league people for accomplishments earlier in their career. I believe everyone in this category is also in more specific subcategories of Category:Rugby league people in Australia so this doesn't aid navigation and it seems to merely reflect earlier fame so it doesn't seem defining. I'm used to seeing "legends" categories for Halls of Fame to induct historical players but I've never seen a HOF where most of the members were inducted after they were deceased (19/36). In the articles, 29 mention the award in passing while 7 mention it in the lede, but that latter group is usually in a block with other awards: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. The contents of the category are already listified here in the main article for any reader interested in the topic. - RevelationDirect (talk) 00:23, 14 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame is given to recognize Canadian Lacrosse players for accomplishments earlier in their career. I believe everyone in this category is also in more specific subcategories of Category:Lacrosse people in Canada so this doesn't aid navigation and it seems to merely reflect earlier fame so it doesn't seem defining. The articles are about split between those that mention the award in passing (often with other halls of fame) and those that have it in the lede, but that second group is due largely due to edits by single enthusiastic editor. The contents of the category are already listified here in the main article for any reader interested in the topic. - RevelationDirect (talk) 00:23, 14 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
