Image:EnronDotToDot.gif (history · last edit) -- This image is supposedly licensed GFDL, but I don't see how the uploader has the right to do so. The image is derivative of the Enron corporate logo, and the derivation was created with a program found at http://www.picturedots.com/. Even if the uploader wrote the program in question, we'd still have the problem of this being derivative of the non-free Enron logo. Powers ^T 00:11, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I created the image that I uploaded, and under the terms of picturedots.com I have rights to redistribute. I believe the image based on the logo is fair use. It's an original creative work that does not depict the Enron logo directly (unlike the Enron page). Rather, it displays an image with 45 dots--the Enron mark can only be reconstructed with active work. Furthermore, Enron is not depicted with any point of view.Theinfo (talk) 21:12, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
