Promotional test edit. — Jeff G. ツ 17:01, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
- Keep Tests are allowed in userspace. It was correctly declined as an AfC submission and the speedy nomination correctly declined as well. Tests in other spaces go G2. SK2242 (talk) 17:56, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
- Keep we encourage editors to experiment in their sandbox. Lightburst (talk) 18:35, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
- Keep, test edits are what sandboxes are for. I fail to see how a link to a picture on Commons is unacceptably promotional. Spicy (talk) 19:34, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
- Keep Nothing particularly promotional here. Test edits are what sandboxen are for. User pages aren't indexed by search engines anyway. No valid reason to delete. DES (talk)DESiegel Contribs 21:01, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
- Keep: Testing is allowed in userspace, and this is not promotional in any way that I can see. Note that the file linked to here and this page were created by different users. @Jeff G.: Please consider explaining the "promotional" part of your rationale. Glades12 (talk) 19:07, 15 July 2020 (UTC)
- @Glades12: That user's edits across 14 different projects indicate they are not here to further the goals of any of them, including this one. — Jeff G. ツ 11:48, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
- Maybe maybe (I'm not certain about that even after checking most of this user's global contributions), but reverting everything someone does while barely bothering to even explain why is not a good solution to poor on-wiki behavior. Remember the human: they're still something of a newbie, and your current responses will only make this person more and more frustrated with wikis and less likely to want to contribute positively to them.
