The result of the discussion was speedy keep. The AfD was far more recent than I thought at first, I misread it as 2022 instead of 2023 somehow, and I don't want to seem to be WP:FORUMSHOPPING. (non-admin closure) TartarTorte 23:35, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I feel a bit odd nominating this as this redirect was the result of this AfD, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Triton (programming language); however, I find that this redirect is not particularly helpful. While Triton is a programming language developed by OpenAI, it's not mentioned in the article, or anywhere on enwiki from what I could find. It seems like it might best serve the reader to not have this redirect exist if there is no information about it at the target. TartarTorte 23:29, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Northern Ireland language in Northern Ireland

Delete. This is a redirect from a requested page move. I agree with the sentiment of the consensus from the request, which said that the title defies common sense and that there is no such "Northern Ireland language". The redirect has no pageviews in the last ninety days and no main-namespace internal backlinks, and since the move was made while the article was very small – only about three months after its creation, I doubt it has any external backlinks either. This redirect – being clearly unlikely to be searched for – can only cause confusion. –CopperyMarrow15 (talk | edits) Feel free to ping me! 22:52, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

FYI, Ahrefs only picks up on one external backlink, from a Wikipedia mirror. Skarmory (talk • contribs) 04:32, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Forced march

The result of the discussion was disambiguate. (non-admin closure) Edward-Woodrowtalk 16:14, 19 September 2023 (UTC) I wanted to write a GA or something for my 10,000th edit, but instead I closed this RfD.[reply]

This target does not match the scope of Category:Forced marches, which consists of events where people were compelled by authorities to march. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 18:31, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, Edward-Woodrow :) [talk] 20:30, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Edward-Woodrow what prevents you from interpreting that disambiguation is the consensus here? Four people said so, and the other proposals were a retarget explicitly marked as weak because of ambiguity, and a retarget with the use of a hatnote (which is also a method of disambiguation). Putting in a simple disambiguation page in place would hardly seem to be a controversial end to this discussion :) --Joy (talk) 10:13, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Joy: I was mostly going on Tartartorte's weak retarget and Ivanvector's lengthly argument, based on WP:NOTVOTE. If I read it wrong, I'm happy to close the discussion (I originally was going to close it as disambiguate), but was a little unsure and figured a relist couldn't hurt). Misleading redirect, as the target article doesn't contain a list of half-centuries by Virat Kohli, and never will do, as that would violate WP:INDISCRIMINATE Joseph2302 (talk) 09:30, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was turn to Set index. There is consensus to turn this into a Set index, and the participants, or the nom, or anyone else may go ahead and do it. Jay 💬 04:27, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Too general a term to be a redirect. Just from this search, I can see multiple other awards with this name. It's entirely possible that none of those awards are themselves notable, but there's enough to make this seem inappropriate to me. Either delete this or convert it to a dab page. The result of the discussion was retarget to Chief of the Armed Forces. Jay 💬 05:00, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Leftover after a page-move, but this is not the only "Chief of Armed Forces" in existence. Would recommend retargeting to Chief of the Armed Forces or some other suitable alternative. Utopes (talk / cont) 00:24, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
