editLooking for an example sentence for the Wiktionary
editThe entry for the word "open" has definitions for notes played on unstopped strings and notes played by not depressing keyholes and valves. - "In principle, the sound travels to the first open finger hole before it is reflected, and the distance between the tip of the mouthpiece and the first open finger- or keyhole determines the fundamental frequency of the instrument (...)" - By the way, you might find more examples, by searching with the word "tone hole". ---Sluzzelin talk 05:19, 26 June 2025 (UTC)
- That is a very good point! Shushimnotrealstooge (talk) 17:50, 27 June 2025 (UTC)
