  • Supporting evidence: On September 15th, IP user 68.165.208.42 removed the logos from the Office of Strategic Services page claiming several times that they were "not the official government seal" and were "a trademark of The OSS Society of McLean, VA". At this point, an ANI discussion was started.
  • I performed a WhoIs search on the 68.165.208.42 IP address and it showed that it is registed to "TD International, LLC" of Northwest Washington, DC. This afternoon (September 16th), registered user Chrismichelle, once again, removed the same images. I believe that the IP user and this registered user are indeed connected and should be blocked for vandalism. I ask that a checkuser be performed to confirm this. no Declined - too fishing-y right now. This looks like a seriously confused editor who doesn't understand the nature of the copyright associated with those images and their ownership. I see you've discussed the matter on the IP talk page and the above editor has made no edits since (and indeed, only ever made one) - Alison ❤ 06:19, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
