One month old account Blogs19 has done nothing but spam minor actor Susovan Sonu Roy across a number of pages. After I reverted their additions a couple of times, brand new editor Abc94 appears and make the exact same edits[1][2][3][4][5]. Please checkuser, as there have been previous attempts to promote the same actor (but I don't know if these were also socks, or just some paid editing). I had indeffed Blogs19 for disruptive editing before I noticed this SPI. I agree that Abc94 is probably a sock, not just for the promotion of Roy, but also the same edit summaries and mobile tags. @Itcouldbepossible and Curb Safe Charmer: Till date I have found the socks emerging from IPv4 BSNL (Kolkata region) and IPv6 Reliance Jio (Kolkata region), but the ranges are dynamic/wide. A clerk or a CU can tell what is this. As per [12] it looks they are a sock of LTA of User:Pritam kumar roni das, but on examining the contribution interest and some unique editing like between [13] and [14] (removing IMDb sources) etc; All other editing pattern, article intersests and behavior matches with previous socks.

User:Blogs19 is back with a new account. They have again started to game the system through increasing edit count rapidly so as to gain EC status. The user has used ++ in the edit summary per [15] at their first edit and now adding 'add website name on ref', 'ref fix' etc on edit summaries as the previous socks. Yes, that would be possible. I've been holding off on doing that, because they're jumping around a few wide ranges - there would be collateral. If they persist with this though that will likely be the next step - and, if they continue with the cross-wiki abuse, they will likely need to be made into global range blocks, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Now coming to the evidence, 1- STATZET created Debjani Chatterjee (actress) which was previously created by User:Theregypsy who is blocked due to sockpuppet and they both given same reason Created by translating the page "Debjani Chatterjee (check here). 2- User:Slashhunk created the draft of Aishwarya Sen and STATZET moved the draft into the main space (Check here) and Slashhunk is also the sock of Blogs19. Xovot signed up the same day that the last account, STATZET, was blocked [16][17]. Both accounts use the advanced mobile editor and prolifically engage in antivandalism, without using any automated tools such as Twinkle or Redwarn. Obvious precocious behaviour: [18]. I checked Xegma because of this ANI thread. Xegma apparently sent an user an email claiming to be Susovan Sony Roy, a non-notable actor that this sockfarm has made extensive efforts to promote. In addition, Xegma inappropriately closed an AfD of the Roy article as speedy keep [21]. Xegma is   Confirmed to the group of accounts listed above. The data for Blogs19 is old, but compared to the historical record, Xegma is editing from the same specific region of the same country. Raewk also edited the Susovan Roy article [22] and talk page [23]. I have blocked Xegma and the above based on the combination of the CU data and behaviour. This sock managed to gain AFC and NPR permissions, which is a bit baffling because they can barely write a coherent sentence.

I also checked Kambal Akau, creator of the current incarnation of the article. They are   Unrelated to Blogs19. Blogs19 was known to canvass people to accept their drafts, create articles, etc. so that could be what's going on here, or it could be UPE.

There are two Articles for Deletion (AFD) nominations: Abhishek Malhan and Elvish Yadav.


Both pages were nominated for AfD by Xegma Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Elvish Yadav (2nd nomination)Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Abhishek Malhan (2nd nomination), and now the same pages have been nominated for AfD by Bharat GangulyWikipedia:Articles for deletion/Elvish Yadav (3rd nomination)Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Abhishek Malhan (3rd nomination)

One common factor between the two is that Xegma’s user page mentions being a Female [24] from Kolkata [25] (West Bengal), but the AFD discussion for Taabii suggests Xegma is a Male[[26]]. Meanwhile, Bharat Ganguly is a name associated with West Bengal, and this user has recently changed their name. The Bharat Ganguly account became active only after Xegma was blocked, and it nominated the same AFDs, leading me to suspect they might be the same person.

Additionally, the Blogs19[27] and Bharat Ganguly[28] accounts were registered on the same day, with only a one-hour difference. SachinSwami (talk) 20:29, 28 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
