Xcx232 only has 58 edits to their name, which almost exclusively intersect with the interests of MyNameIsASDF and either support MyNameIsASDF in an editing conflict or mimic the same edits as the master. Examples: It: Chapter Two [1][2][3][4]; Iron Fist (TV series) [5][6] (for these, note the edit summary of the master, which knew about the edit the sock had made just 13 minutes prior); The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society with same day uploads of the same disputed file [7][8]; Chilling Adventures of Sabrina with more suspicious image coordination [9][10]; lots of edit warring on the Mamma Mia! film pages [11][12] (note the identical edit summaries complaining that a "table is clunky) [13][14]; deleting refs on Shyamalan films while citing the same essay in the edit summaries [15][16], and then the sock specifically restoring the master's edits[17].

Checkuser requested given the throwaway nature of the usernames, plus the reference to "a fresh start" on the sock's userpage, which suggests a deliberate attempt to deceive admins and circumvent WP policy, as well as suggesting that there are potentially other socks in rotation. Block evasion. IP geolocates to Ireland, which the sock had self-identified as its ___location, too. IP had only a handful of edits, but came to life approximately a month after the block of the master, editing primarily pages that the master had previously edited (notably, the only edits on Orientation (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) since the close of the previous SPI). This edit[18] exhibits the master's preoccupation[19][20][21] with release countries and distributors, while this one[22] defends the plot summary that was largely revised by the master and removes the tag the master had previously removed [23]. More focus on countries/distributors[24]. Similar edit summaries/philosophy about distributors [25][26]. Edits to remove refs (which was a focus of the master's editing and one of the prime examples of their socking) because there are "too many": [27][28][29]. Sock appeared about a week after the master's IP was blocked (for the second time) for block evasion. Sock has edited almost exclusively articles that interested the master account. Edits show the same pattern and same preoccupation with production companies and nationality of films. Substantial behavioral evidence, but CU requested because master has escalated from previous behavior of just using IP and may have created other socks. After being quiet for a few months, MyNameIsASDF has created at least one new sock, heavily frequenting the same articles as before, but expanding to new ones. Editing pattern remains the same, often focusing on production companies [39][40][41][42][43][44][45][46]. Of particular note is the sock editing an image uploaded by the master, on an episode page that is rarely frequented but is a fixation of the master's editing: [47]. Diffs from the sockmaster(s), even though there's an archive for this account, full of such diffs that demonstrate exactly what was described. [52][53][54][55]

IP reported on 12 August 2019 and subsequently blocked is back and editing again. Note that the same articles as before are being edited, following the same established pattern (including a telltale edit to Orientation (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.)), so it is almost certainly the sockmaster returning. Rewriting filmplots, edits that are concerned with production companies/locations [56], same obsession with a seldom-visited page [57], specifically to restore copyediting [58] back to their preferred version. New editor with uncommon knowledge of WP. Editing the exact same portions of The Divergent Series: Allegiant that interested the master and previous socks.[59][60][61][62][63] Messing with the hidden notes at Deadpool (film). [64][65][66][67] Most obvious crossover is at Sucker Punch (2011 film), where Tailskin2021 reinstated edits by a previously blocked IP (note deletion of The Numbers as a source, the matching lede rewrite, removal of the production note in the plot summary establishing the setting, the restoration of most of the sockmaster's preferred phrasing throughout the plot summary). Otherwise, usual preoccupation with plot summaries and release information, especially around distributors. [70]
