Wikipedia talk:Requests for arbitration/IronDuke and Gnetwerker/Proposed decision
Latest comment: 19 years ago by Gnetwerker
I have added several proposed principles, findings of fact, and proposed remedies on the "Workshop" page. Is it appropriate to add the headings here? (This page appears to be the sole ___domain of the Arbs.) -- Gnetwerker 23:23, 24 February 2006 (UTC)
Never heard back on this, so I moved both IronDuke's and my various proposals of principle, fact, and remedy onto this page. I read this line "After considering /Evidence and discussing proposals with other arbitrators, parties and others at /Workshop place proposals which are ready for voting here" (emphasis added) as authorizing that. If this was wrong, please simply revert. -- Gnetwerker 18:24, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
- Gnetworker, it says EXPLICITLY that only arbitrators may edit the Proposed decision page with respect to adding votes, proposals, etc. Non-arbitrators may only make spelling/grammar/formatting corrections - all other comments should be placed on the talk page. --TML1988 03:11, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
- OK, I am really, honestly sorry for being dense, but where does it say that? "Proposed wording to be modified by Arbitrators and then voted on." -- that, with respect, does not sound like an explicit prohibition, and an exhaustive search of the documentation on this process yielded no guidelines. Also, I asked and didn't get an answer (until I screwed up -- the law of the Internet, I guess). -- Gnetwerker 06:32, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
