Serve Robotics AfC Draft Review

edit

Hi there. I'm wondering if any editors at this WikiProject would be interested in reviewing my AfC draft for Serve Robotics. I was very careful to write in a neutral, encyclopedic style and only cite high-quality sources (e.g., TechCrunch, VentureBeat, Bloomberg, The Verge, and Quartz). The draft was immediately declined and I would appreciate a thoughtful assessment from editors familiar with the subject area (namely, robotics and technology), so that I'm updating the draft in the right way before trying again, as I don't want to keep hitting a brick wall and wasting editors' time.

To me, the "written like an advertisement" tag feels unwarranted and is something I really really tried to avoid... but maybe there's something I'm missing. I'd welcome feedback from others. I know I'm coming from a biased perspective as the comms head at Serve so I would appreciate help in creating a neutral article that's a contribution to the Wikipedia community. Thank you! Request for review of Alexander Meystel draft

edit

Hello,

I am the son of Alexander M. Meystel, who was a researcher and professor known for his work in intelligent control systems, robotics, and machine intelligence. I have recently created a draft Wikipedia article to honor his scientific contributions, including numerous IEEE publications, patents, and leadership roles.

Given his important role in the development of multiresolutional control theory and autonomous robotics, I would appreciate if members of WikiProject Robotics, Control Theory, or Electrical Engineering could kindly review the draft.

My goal is to ensure the article meets Wikipedia’s notability and sourcing standards, maintains a neutral tone, and accurately reflects his impact in the field.

The draft can be found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Alexander_Meystel

Thank you very much for your time and expertise!

Best regards, Michael Meystel Meystel (talk) 19:41, 27 May 2025 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Megasaurus

edit

The article Megasaurus has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Tagged as Unreferenced for 12+ years. No other language has a reliably sourced article from which to translate. No assertion nor evidence of notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
