La seguente è una discografia comprensiva del chitarrista statunitense Steve Vai. La sua carriera comincia nel 1980 nella band di Frank Zappa e da allora ha suonato per Alcatrazz, David Lee Roth e Whitesnake. A partire dal 1983 Vai registra anche i propri album solisti. Appare inoltre come ospite speciale in album di artisti quali Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne, Motörhead, Meat Loaf e tanti altri. Durante la sua carriera, Vai è stato premiato con tre Grammy Awards e circa quaranta altri riconoscimenti.
