User:Plantdrew/Animal automatic taxobox progress

Numbers are from a Petscan search for articles in a certain category (search depth=6) with {{Taxobox}}; category name noted if it isn't the scientific name. Example search for echinoderms.

Semi-done notes categories with a small number (typically <15) of remaining manual taxoboxes, and where I've examined every taxobox article and decided not to convert it to an automatic taxobox at present. I leave manual taxoboxes in place when I notice some issue with the taxonomy (most frequently, the issue involves synonymy).

N notes categories where I haven't made a concerted effort to convert manual taxoboxes to automatic. Most articles in N categories should be converted to automatic taxoboxes, although a few may have other issues that should be addressed. In some cases Wikipedia's higher taxonomy is inconsistent and should be overhauled and standardized to a recent source as part of the process of converting manual taxoboxes (nematodes and crustaceans are cases where the higher taxonomy is a bit of a mess)

I update these numbers from time to time. I'm not currently rechecking categories marked Done, although it is possible that new articles with a manual taxobox could be created in otherwise completed categories.
