The result was merge to 2011 Florence shootings. Two articles on the same event, merger is the only logical option. Notability of the event can be considered anew on the merged article if desired in a fresh nomination Courcelles 23:53, 20 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep - in what sense is it less notable than the Belgium attack? Both have plenty of news articles about them. This resulted in 3 deaths, whereas the Belgium attack only resulted in twice that number, which is no big difference.--3 times 3 is 9 (talk) 23:25, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- And to add to my point, what makes this less worthy for Wikipedia than the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum shooting which resulted in less deaths? That article exists and a separate article exists about the perpetrator as well.--3 times 3 is 9 (talk) 00:51, 14 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Keep. Merge with 2011 Florence shootings. I think as a general rule notorious slayings like this are notable. But I don't like comments trying to justify on the basis of other articles at the best of times, but much less so with crimes. --Legis (talk - contribs) 08:45, 14 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]- Merge with 2011 Florence shootings. - Merge This is the same article as 2011 Florence shootings. However, it is definitely notable. WP:NOTNEWS states that news items with enduring notability should be included. Poyani (talk) 16:31, 14 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Merge as above. It's been covered in the Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, Le Monde and the BBC, which seems to indicate notability.Autarch (talk) 20:20, 14 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
