This really doesn't seem like a notable event that requires a Wikipedia article, and is bare-bones by any standard. I'd like to remind people here that we are not a newspaper, and that this event has no significant coverage, no continued coverage, and no depth of coverage. It has absolutely zero lasting effect. In short, it fails all the event notability criteria. RGloucester — ☎ 06:20, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
- Keep Being a stub with only a few references isn't a reason to delete. If this had happened in an English-speaking town, then it would probably be quite a sizeable article. 13 dead = keep. Lugnuts Dick Laurent is dead 12:58, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
- If it happened in an English-speaking town and did not meet the event notability criteria, it still would still not be acceptable. It does not meet those criteria, therefore, it should be deleted. RGloucester — ☎ 14:36, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
- Keep - The article needs expanding, not deleting,
Plus people died which makes it notable anyway.–Davey2010 • (talk) 13:37, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
- Since when does "people dying" make something notable? RGloucester — ☎ 14:35, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
- Some policy stated it or therebaouts but have absolutely no idea what it was called now, Meh striked it. –Davey2010 • (talk) 16:28, 28 July 2014 (UTC)

- Keep needs some expansion. Event just passes WP:NEVENT. There are few more non English sources which can be added. Jim Carter (from public cyber) 18:34, 28 July 2014 (UTC)

- Keep - on a par with other articles in the same category in terms of notability. Deb (talk) 11:28, 29 July 2014 (UTC)
- Withdraw this proposal – Since it is clear that I've lost this battle, I'll withdraw my request. I do find it sad that we do not hold ourselves to higher standards of notability, but that is neither here nor there. RGloucester — ☎ 20:46, 29 July 2014 (UTC)
