We already have an article on the black panther, which treats adequately of the melanistic leopard. This article is essentially a wiktionary entry for a non-English term. Kevin McE (talk) 23:36, 26 January 2020 (UTC)

- Redirect to Black panther. No need for this stub with poor sourcing on a language-specific Black panther. I don't think the content merits merging.Eostrix (talk) 09:55, 27 January 2020 (UTC)
- Support either deletion or redirect. This article is not maintained and adds nothing to Wikipedia.--SilverTiger12 (talk) 16:12, 27 January 2020 (UTC)
- Fully support deletion. But not fully a redirect to black panther, as it appears that Keimu may also be a local name for a black Asian golden cat, or perhaps even any other black feline. -- BhagyaMani (talk) 00:06, 28 January 2020 (UTC), emphasized my decision BhagyaMani (talk) 09:35, 28 January 2020 (UTC)
- Black panther is not specific to leopard, its lead states: "A black panther is the melanistic colour variant of any Panthera, particularly of the leopard (P. pardus) in Asia and Africa, and the jaguar (P. onca) in the Americas." It is also used colloquially for other purported black big cats, such as the mountain lion. Reports on sightings down under: [1].--Eostrix (talk) 06:42, 28 January 2020 (UTC)
