The result of the discussion was: merge/delete as nominated. HouseBlaster (talk • he/they) 00:03, 20 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: delete/merge, there is not a Category:Medieval history of China, Japan and Korea. And more generally the term "Middle Ages" is not normally used for the history of East Asian countries. Marcocapelle (talk) 22:14, 10 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: delete. HouseBlaster (talk • he/they) 23:55, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: Unused stub template of unclear necessity. This was formerly used on just one article, but for that reason it just sorts its entries into the generic Category:Company stubs instead of having its own dedicated "Public relations company stubs" category that couldn't exist without at least 60 articles in it -- but the one article this was used on also had {{Japan-company-stub}} (and thus Category:Japanese company stubs) on it, meaning that the only thing this template was actually adding was unnecessary duplicate categorization. It's additionally listed in more than one old "Unused stub templates" system report, meaning it hasn't been all that much more widely used in the past either. Nominator's rationale: merge, redundant category layer with only one subcategory. Merging to Category:Murder in the Byzantine Empire is not needed because the subcategory is already in Category:Byzantine murder victims. Marcocapelle (talk) 08:31, 10 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: rename. HouseBlaster (talk • he/they) 23:57, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: There are two Cruz families with categories, in different countries. I propose renaming them by country. The Philippines one could also be Category:Cruz family (show business). Mike Selinker (talk) 04:14, 10 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was: rename. HouseBlaster (talk • he/they) 23:57, 19 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Nominator's rationale: We don't use "princely family" on any other category. This family is tricky to rename because the category description notes there are two noble families titled with Prince (Fürst) or Baron (Freiherr). The article is at House of Fürstenberg (Swabia) so that's probably an okay name for this category. Mike Selinker (talk) 04:12, 10 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
