Nominator's rationale: This is a misuse of the term videography. Videography is the work done by a videographer. It does not mean a list of videos/film. That use of the word is a unique neologism which does not exist outside wikipedia. Aha ok i did not see that category thank you for the explanation. The thing is that the Underground Railroad used the same terms and vocabulary as train railway network to escape detection when communicating. Much of the history is oral and not recorded as this jeopardised the network. This term is an important element and the usage “locations” is a synonym, not the actual term used. How about Underground Railroad Stations instead? The history seems to be lacking/ largely unwritten on Wikipedia. I appreciate your feedback. I&I22 (talk) 18:57, 11 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
There is a further complication to it. With few exceptions these categories do not contain articles about Underground Railroad stations at all, they are articles about modern towns and the article contains a small history section. Support, except I would merge Category:Leisure activities into Category:Recreation. My reasoning is based on WP:CATNAME, which says Standard article naming conventions apply, and WP:CRITERIA favors WP:CONCISE titles. "Recreation" is more concise than "Leisure activities". Things are a bit messy because right now we have the category structure Leisure -> (Leisure activities, Entertainment, Travel) and Leisure activities -> Recreation. If we assume the usual definitions ("Leisure" = free time apart from work, chores, etc.; "Recreation" = fun/pleasant activities someone engages in during leisure time, "Entertainment" = activities that someone passively enjoys during leisure time, "Travel" = going somewhere else during leisure time), then really all of Recreation/Entertainment/Travel are Leisure activities. To me, this means that Leisure activities should go away and Recreation should be promoted in its place.
Per Aidan's point: I think that Massage (to the extent that it isn't medical) probably belongs in Entertainment (??). I'm dubious that Bathing actually belongs to leisure (i.e., it's generally considered a requirement for most people).
Note also that we'll have to do something about Picnic and Amateurism, both of which are subcategories of Leisure. — hike395 (talk) 20:25, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
