This project uses Wikipedia's standard quality and importance scales to assess articles within its scope. These ratings help us to recognise excellent contributions and to identify topics in need of further work. Quality ratings are added to the |class= parameter of the {{WikiProject Belize}} or {{WikiProject banner shell}} talk page templates. Importance ratings are added to the |importance= parameter of the {{WikiProject Belize}} talk page banner. These ratings automatically categorise talk pages into the appropriate subcategories of the Category:Belize articles by quality and Category:Belize articles by importance maintenance categories.[n 1]

Wikipedia's standard quality and importance scales are transcluded below for convenience.[n 2]

Summary

An article's quality assessment is recorded using the |class= parameter in the {{WikiProject banner shell}}. Articles that have the {{WikiProject Belize}} banner template on their talk page will be added to the appropriate categories by quality.

The following standard grades may be used to describe the quality of mainspace articles (see Wikipedia:Content assessment for assessment criteria):

FA (for featured articles only; adds them to the FA-Class Belize articles category)   FA
FL (for featured lists only; adds them to the FL-Class Belize articles category)   FL
A (for articles that passed a formal peer review only; adds them to the A-Class Belize articles category)   A

NA (for any other pages where assessment is unwarranted; adds them to the NA-Class Belize pages category) NA
??? (articles for which a valid class has not yet been provided are listed in the Unassessed Belize articles category) ???

For non-mainspace content, the following values may be used:

Top (adds articles to Category:Top-importance Belize articles)  Top
High (adds articles to Category:High-importance Belize articles)  High
Mid (adds articles to Category:Mid-importance Belize articles)  Mid
Low (adds articles to Category:Low-importance Belize articles)  Low
NA (adds articles to Category:NA-importance Belize articles)  NA
??? (articles for which a valid importance rating has not yet been provided are listed in Category:Unknown-importance Belize articles)  ???

  1. ^ Tabulated in the Quality list.
  2. ^ WikiProject Belize does not use a custom quality nor custom importance scale (though some WikiProjects do). See WP:ASSESS for Wikipedia's standard quality scale, and § Priority of topic for Wikipedia's standard importance scale.
