    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central ___location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). Be clear as to which namespace is intended, when requesting the restoration of a deleted article.

    This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages or media deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    Please undelete Identity Commons to User:Scottmace/Identity Commons, per this discussion at their UTP. I have been assisting User:Scottmace with development of their userspace draft User:Scottmace/iiw, and the deleted article may have valuable sources, and perhaps content, that could be used to help develop their draft.     @Mathglot:   Not done – this Requests for Undeletion process is only for articles that were deleted uncontroversially, and does not apply to articles deleted after a deletion discussion. Since the article you are here about was deleted after a discussion took place at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Identity Commons, it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion, 78.26 (talk · contribs). After you do so, if your concerns are not addressed and you still seek undeletion, a request may be made at deletion review.     I already knew that there was an Afd and have no wish to challenge the outcome; there was never any intention in this request to restore the deleted content as a mainspace article, per se; that was never its purpose. The purpose is to mine the content for possibly verifiable assertions to be ported into an ongoing draft about a related topic. Given that there are no sources, that does reduce the utility of undeletion, as I hoped it would contain some. However, that still leaves open the question about whether any of the content might contain assertions that could be researched and yield positive benefit to the userspace draft if they turn out to be verifiable. Not having access to the content makes it impossible for me to evaluate this. So I will just ask User:78.26 if they would kindly look at the deleted article, and scan for assertions there that seem on-topic to userspace draft User:Scottmace/iiw and therefore worth researching to determine verifiability, that are not already covered at the draft. Do you see anything like that? If yes, can you please undelete for two weeks? If there is no content there that could possibly lead to improvement of the draft, then this request can be closed.     Soft deleted at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Danish Minhas. The article had sufficient citations and sources to websites which covered the 2009 case.     Other sources which are primarily about a different topics but show the film's significance: [5] [6] Gombegala Love (2013), which captivated audience for its realistic and absorbing narrative. Santosh is one of the new breed of filmmakers, who believes in experimentation. His Gombegala Love, was a surprise, not only to audience but also the critics who found the film one of the best efforts from the Kannada film industry in recent times.

    A film titled Gombegala Love introduced quite a few new comers as actors and technicians to the Kannada film industry.     I formerly nominated the latter for AfD which got soft deleted as a result, without participation. Recently I have found the source for an olympiad gold medal [7] which I'm not sure would count as a notability criterion. Please undelete the page if it does, otherwise leave it as is.

Draft space is not an indefinite hosting service for material found to be unsuitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia's article mainspace. We may be willing to restore it again, but only if you provide a definite assurance that you actually intend to work on it and provide a short description of what you intend to do to improve it to meet our policies and guidelines. I believe the obits published after his death are enough to write an okay article and pass notability. He was a lobbyist and before that an aide to Walter Mondale. Here's his WAPO obit (link).     The article was supported by multiple independent reliable sources including Sound On Sound, SonicScoop, Rolling Stone, Billboard, Audeze, and Production Expert. It was written to meet all criteria under WP:GNG and WP:BIO.

    I understand Wikipedia’s caution regarding AI-generated drafts. However, this was not such a case as I personally wrote and edited the content.
